GREENWICH, Conn. — Atlas Holdings LLC announced it has acquired Merchants Metals, Inc., one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of fence systems in North America. Merchants Metals becomes the 16th platform company for Atlas who operates a diversified group of manufacturing, distribution, service and trading businesses across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Andrea Hogan joins the existing Merchants Metals management team, and will set strategic direction and provide leadership for the business. Hogan most recently served as Vice President of Business Development for Bridgewell Resources, an Atlas company, and previously as Vice President and General Manager for WESCO International, a leading distributor of electrical and industrial supplies.

Also joining Merchants Metals as Chief Operating Officer is Jeff Matuszak, who most recently served as Regional Manager for Boise Cascade. Matuszak also served in various leadership roles at Wood Resources LLC, a former Atlas company, for nearly a decade.
